I was born in Hampton, Virginia and raised in Yorktown, Virginia. I have been married to my wife, Connie, for 23 years. We have two daughters, Sarah (21) and Emily (17).
I graduated from York High School in 1982 and enlisted in the United States Army. After serving 3 years, I moved back to Virginia and enrolled and later graduated from the Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School.
In 1992, one of my co-workers at the Shipyard invited me to visit his church, York Assembly of God. It wasn't long after this that I gave my life to Jesus Christ...May 3rd 1992 to be exact.
My wife, Connie, and I became very involved in ministry while attending York Assembly. It was there that I began the process of becoming a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God.
In 1998, my wife and I felt the Lord calling us to plant a church. We looked at a map, prayed, and landed in Toano, Virginia. We had our first service on April 12th, 1998, Easter Sunday. 14 people accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior at that first service.
A few years after starting Faith Fellowship, in 2002, we were able purchase 8 acres of property off of School House Lane and build the building we currently meeting in now. This was an incredible blessing from God!
We have seen God bless Faith Fellowship over the years and we are excited as we enter a new season of ministry!
My family and I live in Toano, Virginia with our cat, Dave, our 3 dogs, Theresa, Pearl, and Peggy...and about 150 white Pigeons!
I have earned a Bachelors in Theology from Impact International School of Ministry in Huntsville Alabama.
